Vilius Kavaliauskas, the head of the integrated business services group Lewben, a well-known art patron, has established a multi-asset alternative investment firm Equite, which invests in various alternative assets in the fields of private equity and debt, venture capital and real estate, with a special focus on the green economy.
Equite currently has 8 employees, and will expand the team in the near future. The company’s private capital department is headed by the company’s Financial Director, Partner Aurimas Sanikovas. Two other partners, Vytautas Staugaitis and Agnius Tamošaitis, hold the positions of heads of venture capital and real estate departments, respectively. Inga Mažvilaitė, the company’s Investment Director, is responsible for the investment process, while Irmantas Švažas takes care of the company’s investments in the renewable energy sector.
